When you take “vacation” but you’re so dedicated and committed to your work that you work for much of your scheduled time away.

Last time they took time off it was more vadedication than vacation. They’re trying to suck up to the boss by “always being available”!

Valediction Shuffle

The ungraceful ending of a conversation (esp. over the phone) where multiple variations of 'goodbye' are stammered, often simultaneously.

YOU: .... well okay then, I'll talk to you later.
ME: Alright, we'll see you.
YOU: Bye
ME: Later
YOU: Later
ME: Bye
BOTH: See ya
ME: Okay (click)
YOU: Bye (click)

ME: God I hate the awkward valediction shuffle.
