Pickpocket / a native or inhabitant of Nyarugenge . The rwandan slang comes from the song Umunyaru by nat uwakera.
It’s used to describe a person who steals money, wallets, etc., from the pockets of people, as in crowded public places. Nyarugenge is a sector (umurenge) located in Nyarugenge District, Kigali Capital of Rwanda. Nyarugenge is cited as the most risky place in Rwanda when it comes to pickpockets.
