The way a dog moves when it seems to tap dance, moving its paws rhythmically back and forth. A miniature, cutesy form of "tapping."

Trunting (Verb) Trunt (Noun) Trunter (Adj): The act of telling compulsive and completely far-fetched lies. Must be extremely obvious and unbelievable in order to be classified as a trunt.

Person 1 - "I got recruited to play soccer for Manchester United in 5th grade".
Person 2 "No you didn't, stop trunting"

drop tuning

guitar tuning where the bottom string is a perfect fifth lower than the next string, enabling the guitarist to play a powerchord with only one finger. the other strings are tuned the same as standard tuning. mostly used in metal.

drop D: DADGBE
dro C: CGCFAD
drop B: BF#BEG#C#
drop A: AEADF#B

A comedic pseudonym, typically within engineering circles, for using brute force approach (typically a using hammer, see fine adjustment device) for solving a problem.

I used percussive tuning to fix the engine's timing problem.

tuning

The step before dating, usually at this stage both people are aware they like each other but choose to get to know each other/flirt first. Probably the cutest and funnest stage.

WARNING: lack of official relationship may cause one of the people involved in tuning to believe dating/hooking up/tuning with others is acceptable.
