1. Macklemore would describe it as a way to pop tags with only twenty dollars in your pocket.

2. shopping for cheap clothes at a thrift shop.

We went thriftshopping for clothes at a Goodwill.

thrift-hopping

Visiting the thrift shops in an area one after another. A mix between "thrift shop," "shopping," and "hop." Does not necessitate actually buying anything, but describes the action of serially going to thrift shops.

Person 1: "I just went thrift-hopping yesterday and picked up some awesome shirts!"

Person 2: "Really? You should take me with you next time!"
