When dealing Texas Hold Em, "The Rick" is when you deal all five community cards face down before the hand starts, as opposed to turning them over face up at the appropriate time. There is always that one sociopath at the home game who does it every time he deals. The more people complain, the more it fuels his antisocial behavior. It does not change the outcome of the hand, but it is profoundly upsetting.

Bobby: "Dude, don't Rick us."

Devin: "Yeah man. It's the worst. Everyone hates the Rick."

Rick: "Your boos mean nothing to me. I've seen what makes you cheer."
