Shortened from shaz or shazia. It is possibly the best name out there and rivals any double barrel name. Famous examples include All Saints singer Shaznay Lewis.
There is no one definition of this word in the hood so generally it's used to describe something:
'badass' 'wicked' 'the boom ting' or refer to 'ma shortie' (girlfriend).
Or it can even be used to describe where a sick party or club is happening.
