A group of people that performs a movie in front of a screen while that movie is playing; they essentially pantomime the movie. Most often seen during showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

My town's shadow cast might not be so good, but the audience loves us anyway!

A group of people who love a movie so much that they feel like performing a live show in front of the movie for (usually) midnight audiences.

The Cheap Little Punks in Tampa, Florida, shadow cast the Rocky Horror Picture Show several times a month. They're the best around.

shadow cast 

A shadow cast is when there is screening of a movie and people will shadow the movie in costume. Most known for the Rocky Horror Picture Show having thousands of shadow casts in America. All of the time they will be held at night or in the morning so the theater won't loose any money showing it. Also the group performing needs to rent the movie from the company that realsed the film. Most of the time the shadow cast is of cult films.

That shadow cast of Repo The Genetic Opera was way better then that Rocky Horror Picture one.

A pest, a nuisance, someone who follows you around constantly, but poses no danger like a stalker.

That guy is such a shadow caster. Every time I turn around, there he is...all up in my face.

Shadowcat

Kathryn 'Kitty' Pryde, one-time youngest member of the legendary mutant team known as the X-Men. Her power was known as Corporal Intangability, which would let her 'phase' her molecules through any solid object, effectively passing through it like a ghost. Formerly known by the code names 'Sprite' and 'Ariel,' she later went on to be a founding member of Britain's premiere superhero team, Excalibur.

Running as fast as she could, Shadowcat phased through the obstacles that got in her way.
