Scholarstorian

A sarcastic term to describe a pseudo-intellectual. Combing the words “scholar” and “historian”, it parodies a non-existent discipline to mock someone who thinks they have intellectual authority over various subjects.

Typically used to describe Wikipedians, it can also be used for journalists, celebrities who hold espoused political views, and the terminally online.
