1. A close friend (not necessarily a best friend) who is usually willing to hang out and do activities
2. Someone who lives in close proximity and will usually tag along to run errands or hang out
3. Someone down for the cause

Person 1: Did you go to the concert with your girl?
Person 2: Naw man....I ended up going to the game with my running dog yesterday.
