People can not afford the other "O" and "R" in the word poor.
A slang word used to describe how poor someone is.

They are the type of people that usually cant afford new clothes to stay with fashion, have to miss out on opportunities, on weekends end up play Uno instead of going to the movies, and have realized they are poor so say this slang to describe how poor they are.

Is pronounced (PHH-OH) (PEE-PELL)

Person 1 : "wanna go to the movies?"
Person 2: " Nah man, you know im broke"
Person 1 : "your always broke tho"
Person 2 : " that's because we Po People".
