plodrock

The term "plodrock" was originally coined by musician W. Evan Walker in 2010. It refers to amateur music, generally pop/rock, that is dull and unmoving, songs that attempt to move the listener, but, in fact just 'plod' along, not really moving anyone and is usually really dull and boring.
Plodrock usually never hits the airwaves, it usually floats around on demo tapes and friends of bands who are trying to be discovered but never are.
