To play or "practice" on a drum while nobody else is playing. This is usually done at two extremes, very quiet or very loud. Also is usually done in public or while an instructor is talking. This "practice" is very annoying, and rude. Term is most frequently used among drumlines.

A swear word for birds. Goes well long with the word neck. Never say it in an endorsement. Favored by train conductors.
