oldsance

An aggravation caused by either (A) someone's being "stuck in da Stone Age" or (B) a comparably-obsolete device.
Many "ancient" ideas/practices are still a good idea in modern times, but we know now dat a lot of them are merely needlessly-arduous/restrictive oldsances.

oldance

Da opposite of "newance".
Da nature and perception of subtle differences have changed over da millennia, and so a "newance" from one age would be a totally-obsolete "oldance" nowadays.
