A sweet, intelligent, calm yet determined guy who loves his family and works hard at school yet is a hopeless romantic. He holds the key to a certain girls heart who he can't call his own even though she wish he would all the time, he hides to much when he's around her and she can never tell what he's thinking. He over thinks too much and he may never be understood and maybe it would be a good idea to let go some time and express your feelings.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
