Words you can keep

National Anthem

A wonderful patriotic song that has no place at sporting events. Normally, ends in "play ball". Often oversung by the singer....

Fans are expected to take off their hats and close their eyes like it is some kind of prayer to capitalism and the pointless American way.
"The National Anthem has no place at this baseball game"

"Boy, that idiot oversung the national anthem...what beer are you getting"

National Anthem

A tune, most often accompanied by patriotic lyrics that is declared to be the song representative of that country.
"Oh Lord our God arise,

Scatter our enemies,

And make them fall

Confound their politics

Frustrate their knavish tricks,

On Thee our hopes we fix

Oh save us all."

--Extract from "God save the Queen"

National Anthem of the USSR

Official Anthem used for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics from 1944 to 1991. Most commonly used by American Middle School boys who have no clue what communism is.
Girl: My little 7th grade brother was blasting the National Anthem of The USSR at school the other day.

009 sound system-Dreamscape.

During the ancient times of 2008, many youtubers needed background tracks or had to be audio-swapped. One of the most common songs ever used was Dreamscape, on 009 sound system.

Many videos can be seen with this music being used. It's on par with 'Blow me away' by Breaking Benjamin , 'Bring me to Life' by Evanescence and 'Through the fire and flames' by dragonforce.

youtube national anthem

A common phrase used to make fun of all the videos on youtube that feature a song that is ridiculously overused and annoying. Most often 009 Sound System.

4Kids National Anthem

One of the most forbidden videos known to the internet. It is a short made by 4Kids Entertainment that takes clips from the cartoons 4Kids shows on their channel, and somehow have the voices of those characters singing the National Anthem. This video is found to be an insult to America, 4Kids Entertainment, Anime, Cartoons, Earth, The Human Race, and much more. The mere mention of this video can scramble even the strongest minds. If you ever see a video starting out with cartoons characters in gold stars shooting onto an American Flag, and someone is saying "AND NOW THE STARS OF 4KIDS WILL SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!", RUN! Get away from your computer, stop the video, click a link, ANYTHING!
Oh god! Its the 4Kids National Anthem! OH MY GOD MY BRAINS ARE MELTING!!!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
