KARL STEIGER (vox and songwriting duties) and NATASHA
SPENCER (guitars), accompanied by the indispensable Bel The Expendable Drum Machine (beats).
Based in
London, England, some outrageously claim that The Malfated "fucking
rock". But what do they know? What's for certain is that The Malfated endeavor to create
words and
music of the highest quality possible; they pride themselves on being innovators, not imitators. The Malfated strive to create songs that are relevant to the here and now, you and I - not songs for a dead generation. The Malfated look forward, not backward, and encourage all to do the same. That's how things change.
Perhaps you've heard of the story of the Emperor's New Clothes? The one where two con-merchants "make" the Emperor new, "invisible" clothes? The Emperor is in fact naked, yet he roams the streets and the masses applaud and compliment him on his amazing new "clothes".
Nobody wants to be the doomed bastard who points out the obvious, risking death, instead finding comfort in the herd.
Then one little boy exclaims, shockingly, that "the Emperor is naked!" Nobody can deny this fact when pointed out, and how does an Emperor execute a nation?
That little boy? We are that little boy.
We are The Malfated - too school for cool, the cigarette burn on society's arm, the turpentine wound on human
skin, the scarified itch that hurts like a bitch. We are the
truth.
The Malfated are much more than a rock and roll
