A lyth is a mixture of a lie and a myth. It is used to degrade or to afflict by posing as if something that cannot be proved has imposed the degradation. For instance, the idea that slaves had no souls was used to denigrate slave. One can not prove nor disprove the existence of souls. The lyth was used to appease the conscience of the slaveholders and further harm the slaves.

Some Blackpool people go to school there and think smoking is cool (not all Blackpool people who go there smoke) and they think they’re all ‘ard but true Lytham people know smoking and doing weed is trampy and they’d rather not because they’re not from Blackpool. Lytham people are genuine and fun people.
It has loads of restaurants and shops that are mainly family businesses. It is a fairly wealthy town and most people are very welcoming here although there are snobs that think they are better than others because they have more money, you’re lucky to live in Lytham though.
