Rather than becoming despondent upon learning how Congress truly worked, young Thornquist vowed to himself that he would take action at every opportunity to expose the corrupting influence of corporate greed on the democratic process, undaunted for now by their armies of lobbyists, lawyers and lickspittling lackeys.
