(adj) Pertaining to or characteristic of criminal behavior. Comes from jip, the acronym form of justice-involved person, the new official San Francisco PC term for a convicted felon.

Kid: "Hey dad, I'm heading off to Upgrayedd's house to shoot up hero- I mean study AP Physics. Laters on the menjay!"
Parent: "Ok, sport. I'm happy you found some nicer and more wholesome friends. Your old buddies Poindexter and Eugene always seemed like they were up to no good. Hanging out at the library all the time seemed super jippy. I know kids just go there to smoke drugs."
Kid: "Sure dad, I'll come back after we finish robbing the liq- uh...I mean cramming for that test."

Adjective used to completely write off an item or person. An all encompassing word for an item or a person that falls in the gray area in between ok and suck. The word to describe a feeling of disappointment that does not carry an emotional investment or endowment, because you never really expected anything other than "jippiness" from the "jippy" item or person in the first place. Quite possibly the most perfect adjective ever created. A possible derivitive of gyp or "getting gypped" a derogative term aimed at the gypsy culture.

"The Atari version of Pac-Man was pretty jippy" or "Sounds like my jippy boss just took credit for my idea...again." or "Sorry, just crashed again, my computer is pretty jippy" or the most widely used: "That girl is pretty jippy."

It is said that, this term means inbetween ok and sucks. Yet this is only at the surface level, as not one expects much from the person or situation upfront.

1. A type of gay person that is not well defined. Does not fit well into any "subcategory" (in a sexual sense). It is a very gray term that the man (or lesbian woman) can "hide" under.

2. Any weakness or faux pas that can usually be written it off nonchalantly. While he (or she) may or may not blur the lines well; they either dances around them or finds the right people who don't seem to care, that they can avoid them. The slip-up that somehow slips through.

3.The wallflower that blossoms for the right person, but may seem hard to get to just about everyone else. When the right person finds them, they ends up becoming the the unexpected love of someone's life.

4. Nobody expected much from them, but they turn out to be the dark horse (or white knight) every time.

5. The last picked who turns out to be the best ever.

6. Any 11th hour miracle.

Person 1: He seems too jippy....theres no way I would do him

A play off the word “drippy”, it is when someone is dressed in a great deal of jean based clothing (jean jacket, jorts, etc) and is considered to be looking good in their attire

1. A douchebag. A paid or part time firefighter/medic that likes to tell others of how important he is and that he can solve all of life's emergency needs.

2. Jippy Jake has all the training, fresh out of the academy, with maybe 3 to 5 years of diluted experience and wants to help... Only he hasn't the slightest fucking clue of what he's suppose to be doing.

3. Jippy Jake likes to belittle the public he is suppose to be serving and spends countless hours on social media and on his ass at the station, trash talking volunteers and paid on call firefighters and EMTs.

4. Jippy Jake will never talk shit in person. He is a coward and doesn't want to get his ass beat by the real Firefighters. He never actually even takes vitals on medical calls nor lifts a finger on fire calls, again, clueless coward.
