The state that occurs when a group hug grows unstable and collapses. Freqeuntly found in situations where one is around a group of adoring and rambunctious children.

First Grade Teacher #1: "What happened? Why are you on the ground?"
First Grade Teacher #2: "Wow. Total hugalanche.....my class must really love me!"
First Grade Teacher #1: "Yeah, happens to me all the time. Need help getting out from under all those kids?"

Havalanche

Having so much of something that it can or does collapse on you at any second. It can also be a situation where the amount of something to accomplish is so high it takes or is going to take you an uncertain amount of time to handle.

Can be actual objects or a situation

The movers stacked all our stuff so high when they untied the rope a havalanche fell on top of me.

I'd love to meet up today, but there's a havalanche of client phone calls I need to handle and I have no clue when I'll get done.
