They are very much the real deal The term is known for its versatility as it can be directed as a put down, "Check out hinidiana jones over there (snigger), I would sure like to do some ethnic violence agaisnt him because he is a minority", or in more lightnearted way, "dont worry hindiana jones, if you get attacked by the mysterious but poorly-endowed calboner, I've got your back"
