Hiccaburp

A strange, often loud noise, caused by air in the digestive system at cross purposes to itself, that results in something sounding more like a hiccup than a burp, but often induces in the hiccaburper a desire to excuse oneself as though one had burped.

"Excuse me."
"For what, dude, that was just a hiccaburp."
"Yeah I know, but I thought you'd think it was a burp."
"Shut up and quit being so self-conscious man."
