A ridiculously small amount of food left in a package; more than just crumbs, yet not enough to provide any satisfaction whatsoever if consumed.
This is generally perpetrated as a passive-aggressive act, vindictive pettiness, a subconscious micro-aggression, or by a housemate with obsessive food behaviors (weighing, counting, etc) whereas a typical person under normal circumstances would simply prepare a slightly larger portion for themselves and finish off the package, thereby leaving a conspicuous space for a replacement package.
