FTTTEOTD stands for Follow Them To The Edge of The Desert, a band name that was thought up by Todd Lowe's character Zach Van Gerbig in Gilmore Girls.

A sound usually made when someone says something about you that you don't want to acknowledge but you know that they are right. This is usually followed by saying, "Lies..."

Other person: "Lol I heard you tried marijuana for the first time."

You: "fttttt!!!"

Other person: "Hahahaha so it's true?"

You: "Lies..."
