white flash

1. An unfortunate phenomenon seen in most white women wherein they will age the equivalent of 5-10 years in only a 6-18 month time span.

This usually occurs at some point between the ages of 18-26.

2. A general description of how poorly white women age. hypothesized to be due to a high sensitivity to sun damage.
1. Carol was ridiculously hot when she graduated college, but after an unfortunate white flash around age 21, she now looks fairly plain...and kind of chubby.

2. All the white girls at my high school were gorgeous. But now, despite being only in their mid-to-late 20s, most are wretched with cankles and catcher mitt faces.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
