A variation on "autistic". Describes someone who has become so used to e-mail that they shrink from more direct forms of communication.

"Don't even bother calling Adam. He's gotten so e-tistic, he's afraid of the phone."

Etistic

The inability to interpret social media cues. (Comparable to autistic inability to interpret social cues).
Etistic people don't have body language or tonal injection to understand what they see written on social media.

Most redditors are etistic.
Etistic commenters usually get defensive in threads.
