Organist
slang for any
pipe/electronic organ that is not a tracker action, and is therefore an inferior pile of wires, circuit boards, and magnets. It is used to describe such instruments made by Wurlitzer, Wicks, Reuter, Möller, Schantz, Austin, Aeolian-
Skinner, Rodgers, Allen, etc.
Usually containing a stop list of all 8' pitches, they are also called "Mud-Pits"
