Domdrop is a brief period of depression that can occur after sex to the dominant partner/masochist in a BDSM situation. Subdrop is more frequently talked about, and potentially more common, but both can occur, and domdrop often involves feelings of guilt. Since post coital dysphoria, the medical term for sadness after sex, results from endorphins falling, the higher the fall, the bigger the drop; domdrop and subdrop most frequently occur after particularly intense sessions. The best management is physical affection, communication, reassurance, and time.

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Usually something that isn't a particularly a big deal, esp. when it primarily affects someone else - sort of a mild schadenfreude. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.
