When you spent all your free time doing a whole lot of nothing and you do not feel like explaining in detail what all you did.

1: What did you do today?
2: Ah, nothin much. Just got home and dinked around all night.

When someone or something gives you therun around. Usually is quite frustrating. Happens in the instance of a power play between the greater power and the lesser power. Outcome varies.
