daving around

"Daving around" refers to the act of aimlessly wandering around the office, engaging in casual conversations, and generally socializing with coworkers without a specific work-related purpose. It's the art of taking breaks and fostering a friendly atmosphere, often leading to unexpected connections and workplace camaraderie.
"Instead of sitting at his desk all day, Mark spends most of his time 'daving around.' He's the office's go-to guy for water cooler conversations!"

Davying around

The act of walking around with your hands in your pocket doing nothing, walking around looking up or down to avoid eye contact as if there is something of importance in your eyesight, looking busy when in reality your not, stopping what your doing and walking up to conversation that doesn't pertain to you, playing on your phone or making things more difficult to make the task longer. All this is done while on the clock at work and being paid.
Hey man! Stop davying around there's work to be done.

All he's done for the past two hours is davying around looking busy but he's got nothing done, he's useless!
