Corner of my ear

It is barely hearing something from either side of the head and getting the feeling that you caught it in the corner of your ear.
As in i just barely heard that out of the Corner of my ear.

corner of the ear

The auditory equivalent of “seeing something out of the corner of your eye.” A fleeting or imagined sound, ie: a whisper, knock, name being called, or music; usually experienced when you’re distracted, tired, or surrounded by background noise.
I swear I heard someone say my name, but no one’s even home. I definitely heard something out of the corner of the ear.

That ghosty noise? Just your imagination catching something out of the corner of the ear.
