A measurement unit of light invented by Chinese manufacturers of bicycle lights and flashlights. Also known as "Chinese lumens." One chilumen is usually equal to about 1/2 to 2/3 of a regular lumen. If a product's luminosity is advertised with the disclaimer of "manufacturer rated" then the lumen rating is actually in chilumens.
"I just bought a 5000 lumen light for my bike."
"Man, no way is that light 5000 lumens, it's 5000 chilumens."
