Used to describe a shitty situation or thing/object. Usually used to describe bad art. The word is most commonly used by stating that the subject is "caught" in the buttstyles. This is in reference to the popular 80's board game "Crossfire".

Daamn, that painting is caught in the buttstyles dude.
