The inevitable online phenomenon where internet algorithms, tribal mob mentality, and upvote/downvote mechanics turn a digital community into a toxic echo chamber. It occurs when a group aggressively bullies, downvotes, or bans anyone offering a nuanced, objective, or alternative perspective to protect their fragile collective bias.In these spaces, members function as "yesmen" who tie their entire identity to a hobby, fandom, or political ideology. Anyone who doesn't mindlessly agree with the dominant narrative is instantly labeled a troll, hater, or outsider, forcing total conformity through digital peer pressure.
