Wound Flower

A wound flower is an injury turned into a gift. The application is usually emotional, but I guess could apply physically. The idea is basically turning a bad thing into a good thing. Let something beautiful grow out of an open wound. Let the rotting flesh and toxic environment be the fertilizer to foster a new thing; a beautiful thing.

This can and will typically apply in break-up scenarios, where you think you lost the "one", only to find another one that may have been more suitable the entire time.

Originally coined in the song "New Scar" by Mack Harrison. (supposedly)

I never would have met LaStarsha if it wasn't for everything I had gone through with Terica, this relationship is really growing into a wound flower.
