it seems likely that this was born from a 'Friends' episode in which character Chandler Bing uses "WooPAH!" in a feeble attempt at replicating the sound of a whip. Thusly, one might say "woopah" when making someone or something their bitch.
you just won an argument over how to say a certain word in Klingon: "WooPAH!"
you just beat the guy in the next cube over for a promotion: "WooPAH!"

Get the Woopah!! mug.wooahae (우아해) is a word used by SEVENTEEN's member-producer Woozi. Following the saga of fellow members Hoshi (horanghae) and DK (doahae), Woozi also created a term to express his love for Carats, wooahae. It is a combination of two words, one from the first syllable of Woozi's name (우; 'U' from Uji) and one from the Korean phrase "i love you" (saranghae). Its literal Korean translation is 'elegant' but Woozi does not mean that. He expresses wooahae just like how Hoshi and DK expresses theirs.
