Woodware

This is a derogatory word for books, especially novels. The paper of books is made of wood and can burn like wood.
I always tell my wife that the books she reads are just woodware. Reading them is wasted time.

Ian McEwan said that many novels are just housewife gossip. I would say these books are woodware.

Woodward Academy

A very prestigious and rich-ass old money private school in Atlanta, GA, founded in 1900 and costing $25K+ a year located in the middle of ghetto-ass College Park, GA where many rappers and gangs still trap (2 Chainz, Young Joc, Ludacris, Outkast, Cee-Lo, etc.). Many of the white kids that attend Woodward feel a false perception that they are in fact "ghetto" and "hood rich" because they often ride the MARTA subway train to school everyday.
That white girl Chloe from Woodward Academy started crying on MARTA again because she only got a 1470 on her SAT. Her parents gonna beat dat ass.

Summer camp in central Pennsylvania for skateboards, in-line skaters, BMX riders, and gymnasts. Considered to be one of the greatest camps in the world for skateboarding. There is also Woodward West, located in California, and Lake Owen, located in Wisconsin (both run by the same company).
Last summer I skated at woodward, it was sick.
