It first appeared in this context on 30 Rock on 3/25/2010, and was uttered by the inimitable Tina Fey, expressing disbelief. It is also ideally suited for Twitter, collapsing 14 characters into 5. Finally, it requires no additional modifiers, standing on its own.

The best town in New Zealand, close to many beautiful beaches. It has many supermegafoxyawesomehot people. Is pronounced Faa-Kaa-Taa-Nay or fuck-a-taa-nay. It means "Act like a man" or a more crude meaning said by many "fuck a man" (tane mean man in Maori). It is on the East Coast of the North Island in New Zealand.
