Similar to a Vibe Check, a Vive Check is the act of intentionally or accidentally striking a friend or family member with an HTC Vive controller.

When you see, videocall, or meet someone to see if you want to be around them/your vibes are compatible/ you guys are compatible.
Often done when texting people on dating apps, or on a video chat before meeting.

More sorta like a initial assessment, or something to see what something in you responds to them as.

"Hey, so we have been chatting a couple of days, wanna meet ?"

"Ya, i don't have u down yet, tho. A quick v-call to vibecheck ?"

"Sure, calling u on the app rn. Cya ~ ☺️"
