Velithesis

Velithesis (noun) — A form of emotionally manipulative, subconscious thinking where one person uses carefully chosen information to provoke confusion, doubt, or anger in another. The target struggles to respond with certainty, caught in a loop of second-guessing whether they’re being psychologically manipulated by the very person confronting them.
He hit me with full Velithesis—twisting facts just enough to make me question my own memory, and by the time I tried to respond, I wasn’t even sure if I was defending the truth or just reacting to his setup.
