Uncurious Intake

The administrative practice where state agencies accept, stamp, and enforce binding legal declarations—such as parentage acknowledgments, wardships, or welfare claims—with zero front-end due diligence, verification, or factual checking.
Uncurious intake creates a frictionless entry point for fraudulent schemes and nepotistic policy exploitation. By prioritizing high docket volume, federal matching grants, and internal quota metrics over basic truth, the state operates as an uncurious partner. This allows corrupt actors, bad-faith claimants, and connected insiders to weaponize administrative machinery against innocent citizens, establishing false liabilities that the state then aggressively enforces through garnishments, levies, and liens.
The agency’s uncurious intake allowed a completely fraudulent AOP to be processed in ten minutes, locking him into twenty years of child support for a kid he never met."
"Systemic uncurious intake turns public agencies into nepotistic engines—caseworkers rubber-stamp unverified wardships and support claims because processing high volume keeps department budgets fat."

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
