The celebration of the 2021 film 'Twist'. Twist is a modern retelling of the classic Charles Dickens tale: 'Oliver Twist'. The film stars Jude Law's son in his first acting role as well as TV's Keith Lemon, Lena Headey from Game of Thrones, music's Rita Ora, David Walliams as the main villain, disgraced pest Noel Clarke and Michael Caine.
Featuring the most memorable climax in British cinematic history, as Michael Caine snipers lady-Bill-Sykes from across the rooftops with a tiny handgun, whilst being propped up by pop princess Rita Ora, and says the immortal line 'What a fine thing capital punishment is'.
This film is real. And Twistmas itself was first celebrated in Edinburgh and has since grown into a niche online celebration, similar to Ed Balls day.
