Theyfab by otheruser December 8, 2022
A portmanteau of the words "they" and "AFAB". Used as a derogatory term, mainly in online circles, to refer to nonbinary people who were (or are assumed by the user to be) assigned female at birth. Frequently used in conjunction with implications of "not *really* being transgender", "using their label to talk over others", etc.

A nonbinary person may be called a theyfab for using neopronouns, having a non-typical name (such as Moss or Arson), being a teenager, talking about transphobia or discrimination they've experienced, not experiencing dysphoria, not planning on medically transitioning, or simply just existing visibly, among other reasons.
Person A: There are so many nonbinary people online now.
Person B: Ugh, all of those theyfabs are taking over our community.
