The Sort

A socioeconomic phenomenon where highly intelligent and educated individuals are increasingly funneled into high-paying jobs, while those with less education or intelligence are "sorted" into lower-paying roles. This process amplifies class divides and concentrates wealth and opportunity among a cognitive and academic elite.

The term is often used on Tech Twitter/TPOT/the Tech Right.

Also called "the Great Sort", or "the Great Sorting"
