The Knuckler 

The Knuckler is a mythological figure from the backwoods of PA. His name was inspired by the massive boil on his knuckle, but the legend truly took hold once he became a mythical figure living in the woods. Rumor has it he took to the woods to both hide and nurture the growth of his ever impressive knuckle boil. Said to be the size of a softball, The Knuckler is said to take deep pride in showing his boil to anyone who will look, but especially terrorizing those that do not.

Rumor has it he is a mix of man, bear, and pig. But many believe him to be closely related to the Sasquatch. Today, The Knuckler has many imitators, and is a growing term to describe anyone with an overly large boil regardless of location on body.

Growing up in the backwoods, we heard stories about The Knuckler. He was infamous in those parts, for his random shoving of a puss leaking knuckle in the face of the unsuspecting and laughing disturbingly at the reactions.
