Terran syndrome 

Terran syndrome is the term attributed to Terran players in StarCraft II whomst often consider themselves to be more skilled than their MMR would indicate.

That terran I matched against on ladder today totally had Terran syndrome, he said he was high GM and only lost because TvP is broken, yet in reality he just stimmed into storm and never took a 4th base.

Terra Syndrome 

When you try to explain to someone why 2+2=4 and they start talking about geography or cantaloupes or something until you inevitably lose your mind.

Friend A: You alright bro? You sound angry.
Friend B: Nah I'm good, just another case of Terra Syndrome.
