Tankie’s Burden

The tragic, self-appointed duty of so-called “tankies” to be consistently right about everything and to be the only ones to actually have a successful socialist revolution. Tankies carry the burden of predicting geopolitical shifts years in advance and having to educate the rest of the left. Tankie’s burden involves the exhausting labor of explaining basic anti-imperialism, defending AES states, and watching history slowly prove you right at an inconvenient pace.
