Tank and Leigha

A love that will burn for all time, but was tragically cut short by fear and panic. There is nothing Leigha could do to cause Tank to hate her. His love is the purest, truest, most honest form of absolute devotion, heart, mind, and soul. Tanks desire to be by Leighas side as they shuffle along this mortal coil. Come the end of their journey, Tanks wish to lay next to their soulmate until the sun swells and swallows the earth, and finally casts off its shell where their atoms might drift among the stars for eternity.

Leighas are sometimes confused by Tanks. Tanks sometimes cant figure out how to say what they mean how they mean it. Miscommunications will happen between the two. However, there is not a power in this universe or any other that could ever inspire a Tank to harm a Leigha. Tanks will suffer in grinning sorrow to see Leigha happy. There may be many stories written about this kind of love, and while many covet it they will never truely experience it. Where it comes to Tank and Leigha these stories are if anything too tame to describe what exists between them.

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
