TDI or Trailer Density Index is a statistical measurement describing the ratio of Prefabricated housing to Stick-built dwellings within a one square mile area. A TDI of 1 indicates there is an equal number prefab and stick-built structures within the square mile of interest.

Generally aged 19-40, drives any larger TDI car from the VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) stable, for example an Audi A4 TDI, VW Passat TDI etc. Generally drive their TDIs hard, tailgate, and can be identified from the plumes of black smoke that spew forth from their tail pipe.
