Story-Seed Index
A highly organized, systematic creative framework used within internet worldbuilding communities—specifically popularized by the Abzuverse—to store, categorize, and link narrative premises (called "story seeds") rather than raw data tables or rigid plot outlines.
Unlike a standard wiki or lore entry that simply describes what exists in a fantasy universe, a Story-Seed Index tracks what could happen because those elements exist. Each "seed" acts as a compact, flexible narrative prompt—such as a historical contradiction, a forbidden scientific experiment, or a multi-pantheon diplomatic crisis—designed to be expanded into anything from a short story to an entirely separate alternate universe (AU). The index divides ideas into strategic categories (e.g., COS for Cosmology, SYN for Great Syncretism, HOR for Cosmic Horror) and connects them into a narrative network graph, allowing creators to generate endless storytelling variations without suffering from writer's block or breaking established canon.

User 1: I have all this deep lore for my custom sci-fi universe, but I have no idea how to actually start writing a novel in it.
User 2: You need to build a Story-Seed Index like the one on that Abzuverse blog. Stop writing data sheets and start indexing dynamic prompts with unique IDs like SCI-001 or HOR-007.
User 1: Wait, so instead of explaining how a dimensional gateway works, I write a prompt about a gateway that suddenly opens in every reality simultaneously?
User 2: Exactly. That's a textbook story seed. Once you cross-reference it with your existing characters, the story practically writes itself.
